When Will Apple Release iOS 18.3 Update For The iPhone With Major Bug Fixes And Apple Intelligence Enhancements

Apple typically released software updates on a Tuesday and yesterday, the company decided to seed its latest iOS 18.3 release candidate build to developers for final testing. The release of RC build gives us a pretty good idea when the company will release its iOS 18.3 update for the iPhone to the general public.

If you have been keeping a tab of Apple’s software updates for the iPhone and additional devices, you should already know the the release candidate version of iOS 18.3 has been seeded to developers. The RC builds are Apple’s finished products but only available to developers for last-minute changes. What this means is that if there are no more changes required in the update, the company would uncloak it and release it to developers. For the general public, it is very important to know when a certain update will be available as the current stable version of iOS 18 has been causing certain issues.

This means that the upcoming update will fix all or some underlying issues on the iPhone, including a camera and flashlight bug. As mentioned, Apple usually releases software updates on a Tuesday and if iOS 18.3 release candidate version is the last update before the public release, the stable build will be available next Tuesday. With the information at hand, we can conclude that iOS 18.3 will be released on Tuesday, 28 January. If Apple decides to release an another RC build of the update, which appears to be highly unlikely, only then would the update will see a slight delay.

iOS 18.3 will be a major update for the end user as it will not only bring Apple Intelligence upgrades to the platform but also fix underlying issues, making the entire operating system more stable. The update will also bring notable improvements to the rest of the features in iOS 18, and based on the release notes, Apple Intelligence will be enabled by default on all iPhone and iPad models. Other than iOS 18, Apple will also release iPadOS 18.3, macOS 15.3, watchOS 11.3, visionOS 2.3, and tvOS 18.3 to the public on the same day with the same security features and bug fixes.
