iPhone 16e Is Facing Bluetooth Audio Stuttering Issues When Connected To Speakers

Apple launched the iPhone 16e recently with a handful of new features and upgrades, which makes it a solid upgrade over the SE 3. We are already familiar with the design of the device, as it closely resembles the iPhone 14, housing a notch up top and a 6.1-inch OLED display. While the device has been received pretty well by the tech community, the iPhone 16e is now facing Bluetooth connectivity issues, as reported by various sources.

iPhone 16e is facing Bluetooth connectivity issues

It has been two weeks since the device was launched and early adopters are now experiencing a Bluetooth audio issue. Users are sharing their despair on Apple Support Community, Reddit, as well as on X, stating that the audio is stuttering when you pair the iPhone 16e to a Bluetooth speaker. The audio cuts out periodically and it remains to be seen how widespread the issue is at this stage.

A user also claimed that the issue still persisted even after updating his iPhone 16e to Apple’s latest iOS 18.3.2, which Apple release earlier this week to the general public. Apple is currently testing iOS 18.4, which has been seeded to developers, but it is unclear if the update will carry a fix for the Bluetooth issue on the iPhone 16e.

Users have reported that the Bluetooth issue comes to light when the iPhone 16e is connected to multiple accessories at the same time. We are also not familiar if it is a hardware or a software issue, but if it is the latter, the company will release an update which will fix it. Apple is generally very quick to respond to an issue and releases fixes as soon as the subsequent update is available. We will let you know when the issue has been resolved, so do stay tuned in for the latest updates.
