Today, Apple has seen fit to release beta 3 of its upcoming iOS 27 update to developers for testing purposes. The company unveiled its next line of updates last month at its WWDC 2026 event, and there are some pretty major features, with respect to Siri and Apple Intelligence, that you should look forward to.
Apple Has Released iOS 27 Beta 3 To Developers, Introducing More Refinements For Siri AI
The third beta of iOS 27 arrives alongside additional updates, including iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, macOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27. If you are a registered developer, you can download and install the latest build through the stock Settings app on your iPhone. Note that the process to install iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 is the same, so there is no need to look around for that.
Also, be sure to check iOS 27 compatibility before attempting to install the update on your iPhone. If your iPhone is compatible, here’s how to prepare your iPhone for the update, just to be on the safe side.
Registered developers can simply launch the Settings app and navigate to General > Software Update > Beta Updates > and install the latest update. Make sure that your Apple ID is connected to your Developer Account for the update to appear in Settings; otherwise, it just will not.
As for what is new, well, we are getting a boatload of new additions with the latest updates, but what we witnessed in iOS 27 beta 3 is a new setting for Siri. With beta 3, users can now fine-tune how the new Siri AI sounds using separate controls, which would allow them to vary the expression in the voice and the pace at which the assistant speaks.
Siri AI and Apple Intelligence upgrades are by far the biggest changes in iOS 27, and based on what we have observed in the past few weeks, the assistant is now very qualified to compete against the giants of the industry. Even though Apple has given in and taken outside help, the new Siri is more than a welcome addition.
We will wait for developers to tinker with the new builds and then let you know whatever new feature is added in iOS 27 beta. Until then, what are your views on the new Siri AI? Let us know down below in the comments.
